EFLE graduates often become teachers of French as a foreign language. Other career prospects are similar to those of graduates of the Faculty of Arts.
People who wish to teach French as a foreign language in the German- or Italian-speaking parts of Switzerland are advised to choose the discipline "French as a foreign language" as a part of a Bachelor of Arts (BA)
Students who fulfilled the admission requirements for the School of French as a Foreign Language without fulfilling the admission requirements for the Faculty of Arts, and who graduated from the School of French as a Foreign Language, can apply for the Faculty of Arts.
